Follow-Up
The Follow-up Appointments are a shorter session designed to review your progress and address any questions or challenges. This service provides an opportunity to refine your care plan, celebrate milestones, and keep momentum on your path to better health. It’s perfect for staying connected and ensuring consistent support as you work toward your goals.
$90 for 30-45min session.

5 Session Package Deal
Receive a discounted price when you commit to 5 sessions and pay out-of-pocket. This package includes your initial assessment and 4 follow-up appointments. This is a $100 savings and an excellent way to set yourself up for success. Follow-up appointments can be scheduled anytime. Follow-up appointments must be completed within 1 year of initial purchase. There are no refunds for unused appointments.
$385 for the total package.
This discount is not available for those utilizing insurance coverage.
Evidence shows the most beneficial health outcomes result from interventions with 5 or more contacts with a dietitian over 12 or more months. (1,2)

Quick Session - Ask a Dietitian
Sometimes you don’t need a full consultation—you just need a quick conversation with an expert. This 15–20 minute session is your chance to ask questions, get reassurance, or fine-tune your nutrition plan with a registered dietitian. This service is not covered by insurance. It’s perfect for someone who may not have insurance coverage, does not want to use their allowable insurance coverage for quick check-ins or if they have utilized all the coverage for the year.
$35 for 15-20 min session.

Insurance & Billing Information
Idaho’s Dietitian LLC is an in-network provider with many major health insurance companies in Idaho. Coverage for Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) varies by plan, so we encourage you to contact your insurance provider to confirm your specific benefits.
MNT is typically billed using the following CPT codes:
97802 – Initial assessment and intervention (first visit)
97803 – Follow-up reassessment and intervention
In certain cases, your insurance may require a physician referral and/or a qualifying diagnosis (such as overweight, obesity, diabetes, or other health conditions) for MNT services to be reimbursed.
Some plans also include nutrition counseling under preventive health benefits, which may be covered at no cost to you.
As a courtesy, Idaho’s Dietitian can assist you in verifying your insurance benefits; however, it is ultimately the client’s responsibility to know and understand their coverage. Once a claim is processed, you are responsible for any portion your insurance identifies as “patient responsibility” (e.g., copays, coinsurance, or non-covered services).
Verification of benefits is not a guarantee of payment. Final determination of coverage is made by your insurance company after your claim is processed.
